The match between Tottenham Hotspur and Queens Park Rangers took place on 24 August 2014 and was the second Premier League match of the season for both clubs. It was QPR's first away match of the season.

The match ended in defeat for QPR, with the Hoops going down 4–0. Spurs raced to a 3–0 half time lead, thanks to two goals from Nacer Chadli and one from Eric Dier. Emmanuel Adebayor finished the rout 25 minutes from time.

The match marked the début of Leroy Fer, signed from Norwich, and Mauricio Isla, signed on loan from Juventus.
